Commercial Pilot License (CPL) qualifies pilots to be financially compensated for piloting an aircraft. Unlike the Private Pilot License, which is designed for recreational use and only permits the licensed pilot to share the cost of the flight, a CPL is the key to earning money through your service as an aircraft pilot.
Personal Requirements
Possess a Private Pilot License
Possess an Instrument Rating*
Have at least a second-class medical certificate
Read, speak, write & understand the English language
Proof of U.S. citizenship or obtain T.S.A. approval
Note: Possession of an instrument rating is not specifically required for a CPL, however we highly suggest it as this is an industry norm.*
